We are currently looking for someone to join our team, at Family Wellness Clinic, who is energetic, detail orientated, a self-starter, and enjoys and thrives working in a fast-paced environment.  We are a very unique employer that serves Brookings and the surrounding areas.  Currently, we have two separate business who share our front desk staff.  This position will continue to evolve as the two practices grow. This person must be able to work full-time Monday-Friday between the hours of 8am-5pm, be a certified medical assistant, and be comfortable talking to patients over the phone and in person in a compassionate and professional manner. Responsibilities are not limited to the tasks listed.

Greeting people when they come into the office, checking patients in and out, scheduling appointments, answering incoming calls, taking messages and relaying information to providers, posting payments, talking to patients regarding their bills, rooming patients, assisting providers with treatments/therapies on patients, including obtaining lab samples and administering vaccinations, collecting patient history and performing data entry into EHR system, measuring and recording vital signs, keeping inventory and track orders for supplements and office supplies, maintaining a clean office and treatment/exam rooms, stocking exam and treatment rooms, calling other provider offices and scheduling referral appointments for patients. Successful candidates will have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Salary depends on experience. Benefits include a 401 (k) package, holiday pay, paid time-off as well as a health insurance option.
